Braden Martin is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-8 122 lb. frame from Opelika, AL who attends Lee Scott Academy. Smaller frame with a very young lean build. Ran a 7.34 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, good feel to pitch and competes in the zone. Clean delivery with a compact arm action, holds the front side closed and creates really good angle on a lower release, can miss arm side but solid running life to the fastball as the velocity trends up, spins breaking ball out of the same window with slurve-like shape and bigger depth. Also worked out in the outfield, clean strides to the ball, kills momentum some at receiving but an idea to get going with direction and easy throws. Right-handed hitter, limited shift into the process, works level through the zone with a short hands-based stroke, developing strength that will improve results but can get extended out front and work to the middle.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
