Ashton Kehren is a 2022 C/1B/3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford. Large frame with a solid build. Broad shoulders and a filling out lower half. Ran a 7.54 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, starting wide and low in the stance during drills. Receives the baseball well out front before working into transfer. Doesn't gain much ground as he looks to let the arm do the work. Accurate to the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.09 seconds. Proved to be comfortable behind the dish in games with instincts present. Right-Handed Hitter, closed off front side while in the legs a bit pre-pitch. Hands hands as he loads up with a short stride out. Linear plane as he does a good job getting the bat head through the zone. Impacts with some thump as he drove it around the park. Flashed pull-side power during his round as well. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
