Eli Willen is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B, 2B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Grimsley. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.60 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, small bar back into hand load, smoothness to barrel through swing, fires back elbow well, easy bat speed, shifts well, shows solid present power and projects for more. Worked out in the infield, stationary actions in lower half, has solid hand actions, clocked up to 70 mph across the diamond. Also pitched, stretch only, compact arm stroke, tight three quarters slot release, fastball worked 74-77 mph, showed curveball with good bite, did a good job throwing strikes. Very good student.
