Nick Guevarra is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Rochester Hills, MI who attends Brother Rice. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball in the outfield. Clean glove actions while funneling with developing fluidity while working through exchange. Long arm circle at separation and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated uphill carry to the bag with developing accuracy. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly closed stance. Utilized a simple front side trigger and worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Primarily worked to the middle of the field with a level, line drive swing plane. Flashed some jump off the barrel when squared creating occasional carry to the gaps. Tools will continue to develop with maturity. Very good student.
