Brock Booth is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Dubuque, IA who attends Hempstead. Ran a 7.22 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall and slender frame that has plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Starts from the windup with a big side step into a belt high leg lift. Has a swinging gate action in the lower half, landing online to the plate. Has developing arm speed with a shorter arm action from an over the top slot. Fastball at 73-75 miles per hour has some life to the arm-side, generating ground ball contact. Can locate the fastball to the glove side well. Mid-60s curveball has big, 11-5 shape with sweeping depth across the zone. Right-handed hitter that starts from a tall and even stance with a high back elbow and hand set. Has a limited shift to contact, casting the hands with developing bat speed and all fields approach. Has developing barrel control, flashing some raw power when on time and squared. Good student.
