Zach Blozan is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends St. Francis HS. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Works from the stretch, deep arm action in back, directional delivery that he repeats well. Steady mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, gets some cutting action on it at times. Throws both a slider and a curveball, they will meld together in the middle at times but best breaking balls were the slower curveballs, has some feel for spinning the ball. Threw lots of strikes and was successful when down in the zone. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a closed front side and a deep hand load, long and level swing with some lift out front. 7.54 runner, good fundamentals in the outfield and showed range in the games, makes accurate throws. Very good student.
