Cade McWilliams is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Martin HS. Younger look with a smaller frame and room to develop as he continues to grow into physical maturity. Primary lefthanded pitcher with a longer arm action in the back and fields his position well. Works quickly and attacks hitters while showing the ability to climb the ladder and challenge hitters up in the zone. Higher three-quarter arm slot and maintains velocity well. Good sinking life on the fastball and the slider has good depth to it while flashing two-plane action. Pitches to contact and lets his defense work; ground ball pitcher mentality. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance and showed some life. Inside path with some linear shift and a simple trigger into contact. Tremendous student.
