Ernesto Reyna is a 2020 2B/RHP/IF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Reagan HS. Small frame with a slender build and room to add in the future. Ran a 7.44 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Has good range to both sides with athletic movements. Actions are young and developing. Throws from a low slot with some arm strength and accurate carry across the diamond. Throws topped out at 74 miles per hour during workouts. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open stance. Short and direct path to contact. Pull side approach with an intent to drive the ball. Righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery. Good timing on arm action releasing from a three-quarters arm slot. Lands slightly closed but gets rotated and downhill. Pounds the bottom of the zone with good life on the fastball topping out at 72 miles per hour. Good feel for changeup as well with an occasional breaking ball.
