Ethan Wilder is a 2020 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Compact frame with present strength and athleticism. Ran a 7.57 sixty. Flashed smooth athletic actions in the infield working through the ball with bouncy athletic footwork. Displayed fast hands and a quick transfer with great arm strength topping out at 89 miles per hour across the infield. Utilizes an upright stance with a high hand and high back elbow set up. Longer strong swing with a line drive middle of the field approach. Creates some bat speed and line drive pop to the middle of the field. Also pitched at the event. Uses a belt high leg lift during a high effort delivery. Displayed a full arm action from a side arm slot. Flashed fastball with late life topping out at 84 miles per hour accompanied by a slider thrown consistently for strikes at 74 miles per hour. Showed the ability to throw strikes with two pitches and create deception in the delivery. Named to 2018 Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List. Good student.
