Andrew Noland is a 2022 C/IF, OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from East Greenwich, RI who attends Bishop Hendricken. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, receive the ball out front, taller release and can continue to implement additional footwork into gaining ground, short and tight arm action on throws with a longer release. Similar release on throws from the infield and outfield, showed better from the outfield, worked on top of throws with a tight release, aggressive to the ball. Switch-hitter, graded out best from the right side in this look; balanced leg lift or timing, shows quickness to hands and gets on plane well while staying short through the zone and extended out front. Slightly open stance from the left side, balanced swing with a longer path through the zone, gets uphill with path at times. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
