Tj Schofield-Sam is a 2019 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Brampton, ON who attends North Park Secondary. Slender frame with long limbs and an athletic wiry build. Ran a 7.37 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Moves well with light footwork and twitchy actions. Fields out front and works through the ball well with quick hands. Gets the ball out with smoothness to exchanges and throws topping out at 85 miles per hour. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open stance to start. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Hands work back during load with a longer path to the baseball. Works through a line drive plane with strong contact coming to the pull side. Turns the barrel out front with consistency. Verbal commitment to Chipola College.
