Cooper Howe is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Oak Ridge Conroe. Tall and strong build with long arms and legs. Compact delivery with a compact arm action in back, catcher's arm action with a tight high 3/4's arm slot, gets good lower half drive to the plate and loose extension out front. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, has some late run and sink to his fastball in the zone. Has confidence in his change up and throws it for strikes to both left handed and right handed hitters. Soft curveball with 12/6 downer shape. Mechanics tend to break down from the stretch. Key in development will be improving his fastball command and consistency. Good student.
