2018 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase
Tyson Bass is a 2020 3B/RHP, 2B, MIF, SS with a 6-0 162 lb. frame from Lucama, NC who attends Hunt. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Shifts really well into swing, bars hands into load, gets barrel out well on line drive plane, clears hips and looks to drive the ball, good contact skills. Worked out in the infield, good flow to actions, hands work well out front, clean transfer and footwork, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Also pitched, short stride with compact arm stroke, fastball worked 75-77 mph, showed curveball with some depth. Named to 2018 Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
