William Rumbos is a 2019 C/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Jamestown, NC who attends Ragsdale HS. Tall and lean frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.20 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up in a high receiving position, comes out of crouch gaining some ground, takes arm back to a long arm action flashing quickness to transfer, accurate to the bag with developing arm strength, 2.20 second best pop time. Also took reps in the outfield, deliberate actions with similar arm strength as behind the plate, opens up front side into release with a extended long arm action. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a closed stance, rotational swing with some extension through contact, longer swing path staying closed with front side through impact, worked from the middle to the opposite field gap during round. Outstanding student.
