Nick Vaughn is a 2021 C/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Oakhurst, NJ who attends Ocean Twp. Large frame with strength to build at present. Ran an 8.15 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish receiving deep to his body, shows deliberate movements to release and will improve overall pop times as he shortens the arm stroke and continues developing strength. Righthanded hitter, sets up even and spread in his stance, uses his hands well to get the barrel turned over on a level swing path and found the barrel at a consistent rate generating line drive contact to the middle of the field. Good student.
