John DiCostanzo is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Haddon Heights, NJ who attends Haddon Heights Jr-Sr. High-waisted, slender, athletic frame with lots of room to grow throughout frame. Primary Left-handed pitcher, worked at quick tempo with an athletic operation from a 3/4 arm slot. Pounded the zone, working on the black, generating a lot of weak contact throughout his outing. Fastball got up to 85 mph as he sat in the low 80's for the majority of his outing. Showcased the ability to land slider for strikes often as he would pitch backward against hitters. Fastball showed sneaky late-life as he was able to generate a lot of arm side run with a whippy arm action. Developing feel for a change-up that would give him a solid three-pitch arsenal. Tremendous student. Named to Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
