Landry Kyle is a 2020 SS/RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Heritage Hall. Long and lean athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall narrow stance with a limited weight transfer to his front side, long and loose swing with lots of extension out front, backside hitter with lots of lift in his swing, can make adjustments to become a more well rounded hitter as the talent is there. Easy long strides with good speed on the bases. Has a strong arm in the infield and works through the ball well charging, actions best suited to a third base/centerfield type of player, bends his waist to field in the middle infield and a habitual glove tap before throwing. Also pitched, low hand delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, throws his back side over hard. Primary fastball thrower, topped out at 83 mph, flashed hard and tight curveball spin when everything was in sync. Very good athlete with a good chance to keep improving. Good student, verbal commitment to Seminole State University.
