Samuel Walker is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Concord, NC who attends Northwest Cabarrus HS. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. 6.91 runner, has athletic and quick actions in the middle infield defensively, works through the ball very well with sure quick glove actions, arm slot is a bit high and tends to throw low but has Division I actions through the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open upright stance, uses his hips well to generate bat speed, loose hands to contact, solid line drive contact with some pop to the pull side on occasion. Knows how to play and plays hard. Very good student.
