Oscar Gutierrez is a 2019 OF/2B, SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek HS. Medium frame with a younger overall look and room to develop physically. Primary outfielder with a full arm path and good carry on throws. Accurate throws with good feel for the position. Smooth transfer with quick and easy footwork and projects very well as the arm continues to add strength. Righthanded hitter with an upright, open stance. High hand set with a high back elbow and a big stride into contact. Line drive swing plane with a gap-to-gap approach. Consistent contact and allows the ball to travel deep. Shifts well through his lower half into contact. Deliberate actions in the batter's box and flashed the ability to extend out in front of the plate.
