Ryan Erikson is a 2020 SS/2B/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid. Tall and slender athletic build. 6.72 runner, moves fluidly in the middle infield with good balance and quickness to the ball, has twitchy athletic actions and is light on his feet, works through the ball with soft hands, gets online carry on his throws, next level middle infield tools. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a rotational upper body swing, launch angle hitter who will have to fill out and gain some strength to use his barrel plane, puts the ball in the air consistently. Key to his development will be how much he improves offensively, can run and play defense. Very good student.
