Michael Velardi is a 2021 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Olympic Heights Community School. Recorded a 7.59 second 60-yard dash time. High waisted frame with a lean build and lots of room to fill. Primary shortstop who fields it cleanly with a whippy arm stroke. Deliberate actions with arm strength recorded up to 75 mph. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and solid bat speed. Middle of the field approach with consistent feel for the barrel. Flat bat path with a short, line drive stroke. Bent knee stance to start with simple actions and movements. Good student.
