William Parkhurst is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-8 185 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Aledo HS. Medium frame with strong, square-shouldered build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds. Sets hands high pre-swing, spread stance, leg lift trigger, shows ability to work to all fields, can pull the ball with authority, flashed ability to make contact all over the zone. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball well, fields cleanly and works through the ball well, strong arm with velocity clocked up to 88 mph. Also pitched, offline and hooked arm stroke with severe scapular load, lands closed off in delivery and falls off to 1B side, fastball worked 75-79 mph with some sink from three quarters slot, showed curveball with 11/5 shape that could be landed for strikes. Good student.
