Kevin Walters is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Susan E Wagner. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 4.76 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front with two hands and gets behind the ball, works into a short arm stroke and a high three-quarters release, effort at release and shows present arm strength and carry on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow, hands stay still through load, short stride through lower half into contact. Does a nice job of staying direct to the ball, gets inconsistent with plane but best when working linear through the zone. Occasional leverage with carry off the barrel when squared, full finish through the ball. Excellent student.
