Giovanni Bausone is a 2024 OF/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Flushing, NY who attends The Churchill School And Center. Bausone works out of a tall young build with lots of room to add strength. From the outfield, he showed his athleticism with good transitions and complete downhill throws. Quieting down the arm mechanics slightly will make Bausone a defensive asset in the future. At 1B, he displayed good range and footwork while consistently fielding the ball out in front. He even exhibited the capability to be a secondary pitcher on the mound with quiet hands and lots of arm extension downhill. Offensively, Bausone started from a wide stance and used a line drive approach with solid backspin creation. Ran a 7.54 60 yard dash.
