James (Jake) Griffin is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Kingston, PA who attends Holy Redeemer HS. Recorded a 6.84 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with some well-proportioned strength throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher with a longer arm stroke and side step into the delivery with a leg lift up past the belt. Effort at release with a high back elbow and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot. Changeup has slight tumbling action and slight fade and can land the breaking ball over the inner half. Significant arm strength and plays from secondary position of the outfield with throws recorded up to 92 mph. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Uphill stroke with some length through contact and has an inside path to contact.
