Hudson McNew is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 235 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Boerne. Extra big and physical build with very good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and slightly open stance, tends to drift into his swing and get disconnected from his strong lower half, full extended swing, strong hands and can drive the ball, has adjustments to make to get to his strength more consistently. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, is comfortable and athletic in his turns, very good arm strength for the position. Good student.
