Chase Pelter is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends The Kinkaid. Large frame with some strength to the build. Recorded a 7.53 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed hitter, methodical operation that he repeats well, pitches down well and works to both edges with good tempo, three-quarters arm slot creates some sinking life, shows feel for a slider with sharpness and quick break, also has feel for a changeup that he repeats the release well from the fastball. Overall poised and competitive pitching prospect. Right-handed hitter, sets up even and balanced, simple and short swing on a slightly lifted barrel plane, stays compact to the contact point, shows some strength at impact with good jump to the pull side and pop to both gaps. Very good student.
