Garrett Gain is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia. Recorded a 7.04 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, slender frame with long levers and additional room to add strength. Primary infielder with deliberate actions into and through the fielding process. Displays proper footwork into approach, funneling out in front and flashing good lateral range to both sides. Shows ability to throw from multiple angles with accuracy and arm strength recorded up to 78 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter that hits from an open stance with high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Mostly middle-of-the field approach with raw power potential to the pull-side due to longer swing path. Will improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
