Nicholas Columbano is a 2023 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Commack, NY who attends Commack. Compact, broader frame with plenty of room and time to add strength. Primary infielder with a quick first step, clean funnel out in front and plenty of lateral range to either side. Uses foot speed and good approach angles to work downhill through the baseball and does have some ability to change arm angles when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond during drills. Switch-hitter that only hit from the right-side in this look. Hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with compact, slightly lofted stroke and developing feel for the barrel. Creates some occasional line drive impact when on-time and flashes some pullside power. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
