Roman Digiacomo is a 2022 C/3B, OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Fairfield, CT who attends Fairfield Warde HS. Recorded a 6.98 second 60-yard dash time. Physical frame with lots of strength present throughout the build. Primary catcher with a longer release but makes up for it with tremendous arm strength. Generates some explosion in the lower half through release with throws up to 86 mph and a best pop time of 1.90 seconds. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, slightly open and wide stance. Lift out in front and can hit balls hard to both sides. Consistent swing with some pull side power present. Good lower half drive and load to create power from the ground up. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Duke.
