Joey Stewart is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Mattoon, IL who attends Mattoon. Large frame with a physical present build. Ran a 7.73 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, longer and deliberate delivery, stays balanced and works a full arm action through an extended three-quarters slot, drives down the mound well and gets solid extension. Fastball is the best pitch, can get to the bottom of the zone with it while showing feel for a pair of secondaries. Changeup ahead of the breaking ball at present and curveball keeps hitters off the fastball well. Also worked out at first base, younger actions overall with some stiffness at times but gets in solid position to receive and showed clean throws. Righthanded hitter, long stride in and uses strength to lean on balls while working to lift to the gaps.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
