Jaime Lopez is a 2024 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Pharr, TX who attends PSJA. Recorded a 6.89 second 60-yard dash time. Lean prospect with broad shoulders and lots of room to project. Primary shortstop with clean exchanges and loose, natural actions. Moves well to either side with lateral agility and showed a quality arm recorded up to 78 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a rocker step into a belt high leg lift. Works quickly and tunnels the curveball well. Lots of strikes with an efficient lower half. Arm action stays online as does the compact delivery. Righthanded hitter with quick hands and can turn the barrel over effectively. Flat swing and keeps the barrel in the zone a long time. Solid bat to ball skills with a line drive approach.
