Anthony Ruiz is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Pace. Long and lean frame with good physical projection. Ran a 7.28 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays back on the ball a bit and rounds it well, works through it with a clean funnel and good momentum, shows a quick arm with a clean release and good arm strength as he was clocked up to 87 mph on throws to bags. Righthanded hitter, sets up with high hands and works short to the ball; adjusts the barrel well and throws his hips into the swing well. Became more comfortable as he found his timing and projects well with the combination of barrel skills and strength. Good student.
