Cameron Grindle is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Mansfield, MA who attends Xaverian Brothers. Big and strong athletic build with room to get stronger. High level two-way prospect. Primary right handed pitcher with easy low effort mechanics and an extended 3/4's arm slot, full clean arm swing in back. Fastball topped out at 88-89 early before settling down into the mid-80's, gets outstanding run and sink on his fastball down in the zone, fastball life is a weapon for him. Threw a slurve type breaking ball with a bit lower release point than his fastball, flashed good spin on it. Also is developing a change up. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short pull back load and a simple and direct swing with very good extension through contact, pretty much squared the ball up every at-bat during the games and showed his power to all fields, dominant offensive performance, strength really comes out well in his swing. 7.40 runner in the sixty, is a very good defensive first baseman with soft hands picking balls and good footwork around the bag and on his throws. Outstanding student. Named to the Fall Connecticut Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
