Will Yeary is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Mansfield Legacy. Lean and very projectable athletic build. Switch-hitter, best bat speed is from the right side, has quick hands, gets to his front side well with good hip drive, pull to mid field line drive contact, has plenty of left handed hitting talent as well, legit switch hitter, left handed swing is longer with a bigger front side shift, still has some bat speed and ability to turn on the ball. 7.64 runner in the sixty, speed will improve with additional lower half strength. Has athletic action in the middle infield with good body control and balance, shows nice carry on his throws. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm action with a fluid delivery and extended release out front. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with good arm side life, located his fastball well to both sides. Short slider with some late tilt to it, still developing his change up but tried it. Nice all around athlete who will keep improving with physical maturity. Very good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
