Wilfredo Maldonado is a 2020 OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Medium athletic build with lots of body life. 6.89 runner, smooth and easy actions in the outfield defensively, has a quick arm with lots of carry and accuracy, potential high level defender. Hits from an open straight leg stance, upper body swing with quick hands and a short path, handles the barrel well and makes solid line drive contact, projects as a hitter with more strength and lower half use. Good student. Named to the Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
