CR Townes is a 2007 IF/3B from Hanover HS in Ashland, VA with a 5'8", 189 lb. frame. CR has a strong build and showed off his athleticm during the showcase. At the plate CR has a very simple approach at the plate and has very good raw strength in his body. He shows very quick wrists and made consistent line drive contact during an impressive BP. In the field CR has very good range to go along with an accurate arm. CR has very good second base tools at this point and played very hard at the showcase. He is a solid student and good looking Division I prospect.
