Walker Shaw is a 2024 RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Mansfield, TX who attends Grace Preparatory Academy, Inc. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, full windup as he works into an intent driven motion. Athleticism present, getting down the mound with ease. Quick arm stroke releasing from a near over the top slot. Great feel for a three pitch mix. Fastball up to 88 mph sitting mid-80's for the entirety of his outing. Spin rates around 2,250 rpm and feel to work all four quadrants. Breaking ball proving to be a high end type pitch. Feel to spin with sharp bite in the mid-70's. Spin rates climbing as high as 2,620 rpm. Strikeout type pitch. Killed the spin with a fading changeup in the mid-70's. Spin rates dropping down to around 1,250 rpm. Confident with all three and shows mature pitchability. Outstanding Student. Named to National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.
