Nathan Ricko is a 2025 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-4 186 lb. frame from Deland, FL who attends Deland. Broad shouldered tall athletic build with lots of physical projection. Primary right handed pitcher, works from a high leg raise delivery with a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, arm is loose and whippy, controls his delivery well and gets down the mound well. Fastball worked up to 84 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle. Threw a big breaking slider that had solid potential as well, nice two-plane shape on the slider. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Played outfield when not on the mound, showed his arm strength well and got on top of his throws well, creating carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has a well timed hand load and was on time, looks to pull the ball, showed good pop in his barrel when he got extended through contact. Good overall athlete who is going to keep improving. Good student. Named to the Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
