Anthony Ruocco is a 2023 2B/RHP, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Deland, FL who attends Deland. Small and athletic frame, young with plenty of room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.51 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield with good hands that project moving forward, ranges well laterally, quick transitions to his hand, developing arm strength but showcased a clean round in the infield during drills, lots of potential with the glove. Secondary righthanded pitcher, takes his arm back to a compact arm action with a tight release, fastball topped out at 73 mph on the bump, pitches to contact with a two pitch combination. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance and a high hand set, compact swing with a downhill swing plane, upper half dominant stroke and will improve pop with additional lower half involvement.
