Gian Fernandez is a 2025 C/3B, MIF with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands. Ran a 8.45 60 yard dash. Solid defensively behind the plate. Excellent footwork and gains ground quickly on throws. Has good feel for receiving as well. Smooth reactions in the infield and has good range to both sides. Solid arm strength with an accurate arm. Nice juice at the plate, more power over hit tool presently. Semi crouch and has a square set up. Strong swing with loft and the ball carries well off his bat. Does a good job of getting extended while making contact out front. Clean bat path and can pull the ball with authority. Was named to the Sunshine South Top Prospects' list for the class of 2025.
