2020 Gulf Coast Prospect Showcase
Noah Yamas is a 2021 OF/RHP, C, IF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Franklin. He ran a 7.21 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a medium frame showing some present strength. In the outfield he he works through the ball with long strides into a long gather, he showed developing arm strength with a full arm action on his accurate throws to the bases. On the mound he starts with a rocker step into a high leg lift, the arm action starts with a deep plunge out of the glove before working to a high three-quarters arm slot, he works down the mound with some drop and drive actions on the back side maintaining a good line to the plate, he sat 71-74 mph with his fastball that played true through the zone, he mixed in a mid 60's curveball with 11-5 shape with good depth. At the plate he starts his right-handed swing with a wide base and hands set by his ear, the bat works uphill through the zone with flashes of bat speed working best to the pull side. Very good student.
