Michael David Escobar is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Gulliver Schools. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.22 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athletic actions around the dirt, moves around with good energy and intent, sets his feet well at receiving and gets rid of it quickly with projectable arm strength across. Righthanded hitter, sets up slightly open with high hands and a high back elbow; good clean load and uncoils well, shows really good bat speed and torques hard in his process, quickness in his hands allows him to adjust well and showed some strength off the barrel when squared. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
