Braelin Pillot is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Mableton, GA who attends Kell. Large and strong frame with sloped shoulders and long limbs. Ran a 7.33 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts his windup form the third base side of the rubber, hands stay stationary at the chin in his delivery, takes his arm back to a clean arm action up to a low 3/4 arm slot, gets over his front side well with good extension and flexibility. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with riding life, creates a tough angle from his low arm slot as well, mixes in a curveball with feel and short depth, slurve-type curveball, comfortable throwing both pitches. Secondary first baseman, worked out at the position with young actions, clean turns to second and showed lots of agility in his footwork. Right-handed hitter, open stance in the box, raw bat speed with high exit velocities produced when squared, swings with intent and a gap to gap approach. Good student. Named to 2020 Southeast Prospect Top Prospect List.
