Seth Childers is a 2023 OF/SS with a 6-1 162 lb. frame from Carrollton, GA who attends Carrollton. Medium, lean frame with athletic look to it and room to add strength. Recorded a 7.08 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with smooth, clean actions throughout the fielding process. Fundamentally sound footwork, fields off his front foot and transitions cleanly into release. Maintains momentum and produced accurate throws up to 81 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Simple, repeatable operation with belt high leg lift and athletic movements down the slope. Fastball worked mostly in the mid-to-upper 70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 80 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Showed ability to add-and-subtract to his fastball seamlessly and flashed a two-plane breaking ball with short tilt to it. Pounded the strike zone effortlessly and should continue to strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, open base with a tight hand set and hover trigger. Whole field approach with downhill swing path that is slightly elongated. Showed some bat-to-ball skills that will improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
