Christopher (CJ) Auger is a 2020 1B/3B with a 5-10 205 lb. frame from Vero Beach, FL who attends Vero Beach HS. Recorded a 7.50 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with present strength and physicality on the build. Primary first baseman who throws from a lower slot. Stays low on release with solid footwork into the throw. Hands work well and makes accurate throws across. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and high back elbow. Adjusts well to location and showed the ability to go to all fields. Consistent hard hit, line drive contact especially up the middle. Flashes extension and showed very good strength through the point of contact; exit velocity up to 88 mph. Great student.
