Keagan Baxter is a 2022 C/1B/3B with a 6-1 201 lb. frame from Gray, GA who attends Jones County. Big and strong athletic build. Very good runner especially for a primary catcher, 6.90 in the sixty, uses his speed aggressively on the bases. Shows his athleticism well behind the plate defensively, has lower body quickness and comes out of his crouch well, solid arm strength with good carry on his throws. Also has the tools to play the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a calm and quiet swing approach, has a short hands drive swing with more potential there with increased lower half use, hands are strong and he gets nice jump off the barrel with present bat speed, pull side to mid-field contact. Very nice all around athlete with the quick twitch/strength combination to play at a high level with continued hard work and repetitions. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
