Ezekiel Lara is a 2026 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Cerritos, CA who attends Mater Dei. Medium athletic build. Left handed hitter, hits from an exaggerated spread stance with pre-set high hands, has very fast hands, turn on the ball hard with very good present bat speed, showed the ability to go the other way in games with authority as well, nice combination of bat speed with barrel accuracy, really projects as a hitter. 6.84 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has active feet and good lateral actions, stays low to the ground, plays defense with energy, rounds the ball well, arm works well from multiple slots, no reason he can't be playing middle infield in addition to third base. Also pitched, has a high energy delivery and will get out of sync at times. Fastball worked in the upper 70's and topped out at 81 mph with slight arm side running life. Also threw an upper 60's curveball that flashed some bite. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
