Cole Ryherd is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley West. Recorded a 7.54 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller athletic frame. Primary shortstop, with smooth feet and soft hands. Great feel for his glove and the footwork. Made all the plays cleanly. Made accurate throws on the move. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a compact, athletic delivery with a belt-high leg kick with a quarter twist and a clean arm action with a three- quarter arm slot. Flies open but utilizes the whole body and stays in sync. The fastball was mid 60s to 70 with slight arm side sink. Beginning stages on the breaking ball with limited feel to spin but some sense of shape. Fairly clean inning. Left-handed hitter, starts from a even base with a slightly open stance and a high back elbow, utilizes leg lift timing. Quick enough hands and holds angles well in the swing. Decent job staying stacked with compact swings and developing bat speed. Got to the barrel and can use the whole field with a line drive approach. Got to the barrel multiple time in the game. Exciting young player as the frame matures. Named to the 13U/14U Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
