Tyler Bruno is a 2019 OF with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Hazlet, NJ who attends Raritan High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and shows present strength to frame, additional room to fill. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows smooth and athletic footwork moving towards the ball, does a nice job of working through it too, short arm action through the back, clean glove actions, occasionally gets under the ball from three-quarters slot, accurate to the intended base. Righthanded hitter, begins with a square stance in the box and a high hand set at the plate. Starts with narrow base and shifts weight well with stride, utilizes a short, compact stroke through the zone with a linear swing path. Looks to create contact and shows slight lift out front with present bat speed to swing, projects for more.
